How often have you driven by a little side road on your way to work, to the store or heading home and really didn’t give it much thought? Are there little side roads around you that have you never noticed? Amazingly, some of these little forgotten roads may just take you on an amazing trip. You may already know of some roads like these, if so we would like to share them with everyone.
Are you a frequent traveler? I bet you have some stories and adventure to tell. Most everyone now has a dash cam and the majority of vacationers take pictures and video. What Is Down Those Side Roads?
Have you ever taken the time to venture down those little side roads in your town or community? You might be amazed at what is down those side roads, the scenery may be breathtaking. Take some time and explore one, one day.
1970's Travels
In this video you will see Knoxville Tennessee's famous "Malfunction Junction" which was once mentioned on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. A nice little sped up trip from Nashville TN to Knoxville TN and some footage of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.
Blaine Co Backroad Trip
Blaine County is in Tennessee, right outside of Knoxville TN. The Holston River runs in and out of the county. The trip to get out there took me through Corryton Tn. Both counties have awesome scenery. You get to see House Mountain and can even visit an old Indian Cave.
On Our Way To Chained Rock Mountain
This is a quick video, didn't take a lot of road footage but you do get to see our trip through the Cumberland Gap Tunnel that is on the boarder of Tennessee and Kentucky. Plus a visit to Chained Rock Mountain in Pineville KY.
Pensacola and Fort Pickens
This is a vacation trip to Pensacola Florida. We always go to Fort Pickens, the Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum, and National Naval Aviation Museum. Too bad you can't go to the Naval Museum anymore due to the terrorist attack in 2019. It is really a great place to visit.
